Secretariat of CAWS is also Secretariat of sub-Technical Committee on Logistics Operation under National Technical Committee on Logistics Standardization. Inside national logistics standard system, CAWS is responsible for the revision, promotion, implementation, measurement and certification of warehousing and storage related standards in the national logistics standard system framework. National standards enacted and implemented by CAWS are as follows: National Standard of Grades for general Warehouse (GB/T 21072-2007), National Standard of Requirement for warehousing service quality （GB/T 21071-2007）and National Standard of Vocational criteria for warehousing worker (GB/T 21070-2007).A standard, Basic Parameters in Plan and Design of Modern General Warehouse and storage area is recommended by CAWS as well. Assessment and evaluation of China’s starred-warehouse and Qualified Companies in Warehousing and Storage Service Quality are being conducted according to related national standards from 2008.
